Brief Job Description
The Industrial Engineer will support either the Sales or Quality Assurance function depending on business needs. The role applies analytical, coordination, and process improvement skills to ensure efficient sales order processing or effective QA documentation and compliance systems. The position is designed for a flexible, cross-functional role supporting operational efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- For Sales Assignment
- Act as Sales Coordinator handling day-to-day sales support activities.
- Monitor orders from Sales Order (SO) creation up to shipment and delivery completion.
- Coordinate with Logistics, Warehouse, and Finance to ensure smooth and timely order processing.
- Track order status, client requests, and documentation requirements.
- Prepare, update, and analyze sales reports and performance summaries.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of sales-related records and data.
- Follow through on customer requirements and internal coordination to ensure on-time fulfillment.
- For Quality Assurance (QA) Assignment
- Prepare, review, and maintain technical and quality documentation (inspection reports, QA records, process documentation).
- Assist in implementing and monitoring QA procedures and compliance standards.
- Support internal quality audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
- Ensure proper organization and control of QA records and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply (with or without work experience).
- Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized and keen to details.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data organization, formulas, charts, pivot tables).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to be assigned either in Sales or Quality-Assurance depending on business needs.
Preferred Qualifications (optional)
- Internship or exposure in manufacturing, sales operations, logistics, or QA environments.
- Basic knowledge of process mapping, data analysis, or quality systems (GMP, HACCP).
- Experience handling large datasets or reporting tasks is an advantage.
