Job Summary
The Industrial Engineer is responsible for analyzing production processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing solutions that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and maximize labor and operational efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Design and implement efficient production layouts to optimize workflow and material movement
- Develop and maintain work standards, operating procedures, and production documentation
- Conduct time studies and work measurement programs to improve labor utilization
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Quality Control teams to ensure smooth operations
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste
- Troubleshoot production issues and recommend effective solutions
- Research and apply industry best practices, new technologies, and process improvements
- Assist in the evaluation and procurement of production equipment and machinery
- Support daily production operations to achieve efficiency and performance targets
- Help ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
- 1–2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Experience in production process optimization, layout design, and work measurement
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage
- Detail-oriented and results-driven with the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
