Job Summary:
The Industrial Designer is responsible for developing and improving cosmetic packaging concepts and product components, balancing aesthetics, functionality, manufacturability, and brand requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop 2D and 3D packaging concepts for cosmetic products, including primary packaging, secondary packaging, and promotional kits.
- Create and refine packaging structures, forms, dimensions, and design specifications based on product and brand requirements.
- Prepare production-ready artwork, technical drawings, mockups, and design specifications for packaging development.
- Develop packaging concepts that consider functionality, usability, materials, production methods, and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with Product Development, Marketing, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams throughout the packaging development process.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding packaging specifications, prototypes, samples, materials, printing, and production requirements.
- Review prototypes and samples to ensure alignment with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards.
- Recommend appropriate materials, finishes, printing processes, and structural solutions for packaging.
- Ensure packaging designs comply with applicable regulatory and labeling requirements, including FDA Philippines requirements.
- Conduct design revisions based on product requirements, testing, production feedback, and stakeholder inputs.
- Maintain organized and updated design files, technical specifications, mockups, and packaging documentation.
- Monitor packaging design trends, materials, technologies, and innovations relevant to the cosmetics and FMCG industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Packaging Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Experience in packaging, product, or industrial design, preferably within cosmetics, beauty, FMCG, or consumer products.
- Proficient in relevant 2D/3D design and visualization software.
- Knowledge of packaging materials, printing processes, structural design, and manufacturing is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of design development, technical specifications, and production requirements.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and able to translate concepts into practical and manufacturable designs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects and work within timelines.

• 2+ years of experience in Art/Creative
