Job Description

The Industrial Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of industrial facilities, including production areas, warehouses, machinery, equipment, and other workspaces. The role ensures that cleaning activities are performed efficiently and in accordance with company standards, health and safety regulations, and established procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize factory floors, production areas, warehouses, and other industrial facilities.

Remove dust, dirt, grease, oil, and other industrial waste from work areas.

Clean machinery, equipment, tools, and workstations following proper safety procedures.

Sweep, mop, scrub, and pressure-wash floors and surfaces as required.

Collect, segregate, and dispose of waste materials properly.

Handle and use cleaning chemicals and industrial cleaning equipment safely.

Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, common areas, and employee facilities.

Follow company health, safety, and environmental policies.

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing cleaning tasks.

Report damaged equipment, safety hazards, spills, and maintenance issues to the supervisor.

Maintain cleaning supplies and report shortages when necessary.

Perform other cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications And Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.

Previous experience in industrial or factory cleaning is an advantage.

Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment.

Physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning tasks.

Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.

Willingness to work on shifting schedules, weekends, or overtime when required.

Hardworking, responsible, and detail-oriented.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
