Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Market Expansion
Independently prospect and acquire core target accounts across US-based import/export trading companies, international freight forwarders, cross-border e-commerce sellers, and manufacturers
Leverage multi-channel outreach strategies including cold calling, LinkedIn social selling, targeted email campaigns, and industry trade shows to systematically build and expand your sales pipeline
Conduct deep discovery to uncover critical pain points around customs data intelligence, supply chain risk analysis, competitor monitoring, and precision customer acquisition
2. Value Delivery & Solution Selling
Deliver compelling product demonstrations of Tendata's SaaS platform, showcasing global customs data search, AI-powered customer recommendations, procurement behavior analytics, and market trend insights
Design tailored data solutions based on industry-specific use cases with clear quantification of ROI for prospects
Independently manage the full sales cycle from initial negotiation through contract execution, payment collection, and deal closure
3. Lead Conversion & Customer Lifecycle Management
Rapidly respond to and convert high-quality inbound leads assigned by the company, maintaining superior conversion rates
Build and nurture long-term client relationships, proactively identifying annual renewal and upsell opportunities to maximize customer lifetime value
Conduct periodic account reviews, systematically gather user feedback, and uncover cross-sell and expansion opportunities
4. Market Intelligence & Strategic Feedback
Continuously monitor competitor movements, evolving customer pain points, and import/export policy shifts in the US market
Produce structured market intelligence reports for headquarters on a regular basis
Participate directly in product optimization and regional pricing strategy discussions
Requirements Essential Qualifications
Language
Business-fluent English communication skills
Sales Experience
3+ years direct SaaS sales experience, OR 5+ years in related industries; deep understanding of subscription/data service sales methodologies and customer success frameworks
Industry Background (at least one required)
• Import/Export Trading
• International Freight Forwarding/Logistics
• Cross-border E-commerce
• Customs Data/Trade Intelligence/Supply Chain Software
Client Network
Established B2B client relationships or proven industry network within the United States
