As an Independence Senior Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining regulatory compliance and managing risks within our Risk and Compliance team. You will provide advice and solutions to help organizations navigate complex regulatory landscapes and enhance their internal controls. As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and skills while anticipating the needs of your teams and clients to deliver quality outcomes.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Manila, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to facilitate compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Within our Internal Firm Services practice, you will uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards, using a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems. You will interpret data to inform insights and recommendations, developing a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing. Embracing increased ambiguity, you will be comfortable when the path forward isn't clear, using these moments as opportunities to grow.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to facilitate compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Conducting compliance risk assessments and reviews to identify potential areas of vulnerability
- Analyzing complex regulatory landscapes to provide advice and solutions for risk management
- Navigating complex situations to enhance internal controls and mitigate risks effectively
- Building meaningful client connections and fostering a culture of integrity within the organization
- Utilizing analytical thinking to interpret data and inform insights and recommendations
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including adherence to the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements
- Collaborating with teams to anticipate needs and deliver quality outcomes
- Applying investigative decision-making skills to address compliance challenges
- Developing a deeper understanding of the business context and its evolving nature
- Perform the Independence Compliance monitoring procedures and assessments
- Consolidate the Independence violations for the month
- Act as a subject matter expert and respond to Independence-related queries/ consultations
What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
