Job Summary
The Lind Boracay is seeking a meticulous and analytical Income Auditor to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all hotel revenues are accurately audited, recorded, and reported on a daily basis. You will work closely with department managers and finance leaders to maintain strict internal controls, reconcile cash and credit movements, and resolve revenue discrepancies in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit and reconcile all daily revenue sources (Rooms, Food & Beverage, Banquets, and Miscellaneous) against cash banked and accounts receivable movements.
- Prepare and distribute the Daily Revenue Report to Outlet Managers and Executive Leadership.
- Reconcile total outlet sales against total charges, advance payments, and folio postings.
- Audit daily collection summaries against bank deposit slips in coordination with the General Cashier.
- Audit guest checks, dockets, and settlement methods across all dining outlets and banquets to ensure complete revenue capture.
- Monitor buffet controls, cash-settled checks, and register float totals to prevent reuse or discrepancies.
- Review, verify, and track all voided checks, corrections, and unsettled checks, ensuring proper management approval.
- Finalize food cover reports and maintain documentation for F&B cost control.
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Audit all rebates, paid-outs, and miscellaneous charges to ensure full documentation and adherence to Finance Policy.
- Summarize daily rebate credits and adjustments for Hotel Manager and Finance Manager review.
- Safeguard and control promotional programs, including coupons, certificates, gift cards, and vouchers.
- Assist with routine audits of outlet cash floats and point-of-sale (POS) registers.
- Perform special finance projects and ad-hoc reporting as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting/auditing experience, preferably within a luxury hotel or resort setting (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office suite. Familiarity with Hotel PMS (Property Management Systems) and POS systems is highly preferred.
- Strong background in record-keeping, daily revenue reconciliation, and financial analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a high level of self-motivation in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for interacting effectively with outlet managers, executive leadership, and internal teams.
