About The Role

The Incident Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating IT incident resolution to minimize disruptions to business operations. This role ensures effective communication of incident status and resolutions to stakeholders while performing impact assessments and escalating critical issues as needed.

Additionally, the Incident Manager utilizes ITIL framework best practices to enhance incident response processes and contributes to continuous improvement through detailed incident documentation and analysis.

How You'll Contribute

  • Actively monitor reporting channels for possible major incidents
  • Assess impact for critical applications whenever it is unclear or unknown
  • Manage and coordinate the resolution of IT incidents, ensuring minimal impact on business operations
  • Communicate incident status and resolution updates effectively to stakeholders.
  • Escalate critical issues, as necessary
  • Document the incident and generate a report after the fact

What We're Looking For

  • Typically, a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

Required/Preferred Certification/Professional License (if applicable):

  • ITIL 4 Foundation

Field of Specialization (if applicable):

  • IT Service Management (ITSM): Expertise in managing IT services and ensuring they meet business needs
  • Familiarity with frameworks like ITIL is crucial
