Role Description The Inbound Travel Sales Agent is a full-time, on-site role based in Cebu, responsible for handling incoming calls and online inquiries from customers seeking travel services. The agent will consult clients on flight options, travel packages, and related services, providing accurate information and personalized recommendations to match their needs and budget. Daily tasks include managing reservations, processing payments, confirming itineraries, and ensuring all travel details are correctly documented in the system. The role involves meeting sales targets, following up on leads, and offering additional services such as insurance or upgrades to maximize customer value. The agent will collaborate with team members and supervisors, adhere to company procedures and quality standards, and maintain a professional, customer-focused attitude in every interaction.
Qualifications
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and active listening abilities.
  • Sales and negotiation skills, with the capacity to convert inquiries into bookings and meet or exceed performance targets.
  • Basic computer literacy, including the use of CRM tools, booking systems, and common office software.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail for handling complex itineraries, changes, and customer concerns.
  • Ability to work on-site in Cebu on rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Previous experience in call centers, travel agencies, or customer-facing roles is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in tourism, hospitality, business, or related fields is a plus.
  • Resilience under pressure, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training.
