Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily inbound activities including receiving, unloading, checking, and putaway of materials.
  • Ensure all inbound shipments are processed accurately and on time.
  • Monitor inbound dock performance and manage trailer scheduling to avoid delays.
  • Verify correctness of received goods against purchase orders and delivery documents.
  • Ensure proper documentation of discrepancies (damages, shortages, overages).
  • Implement and enforce quality checks to maintain high accuracy levels.
  • Lead, supervise, and train inbound associates to achieve productivity targets.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching or corrective actions.
  • Promote a safe, disciplined, and motivated work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, customer requirements, and safety standards.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Support implementation of lean initiatives and warehouse optimization projects.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inbound performance reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of inbound activities in WMS (Warehouse Management System).
  • Communicate operational concerns or exceptions to management and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with transportation teams, suppliers, and customer representatives regarding inbound schedules.
  • Coordinate with inventory control, outbound, and warehouse operations to ensure workflow balance.
  • Address escalations related to inbound discrepancies or delays.
  • Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies for inbound operations.
  • Conduct safety briefings, incident reporting, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure proper use of equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners.
  • Manage QA activities, ensuring that product inspections, quality checks, and validations meet customer and internal standards.
  • Oversee special order and retail operations, ensuring correct handling, processing, and documentation.
  • Supervise bundling activities, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely completion according to customer requirements.
  • Manage STO and CODA items, including tracking, documentation, reconciliation, and timely processing.
  • Handle TPR vendors, ensuring alignment with operational standards, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Coordinate schedules, monitor performance, and resolve issues related to TPR activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field equivalent experience accepted.
  • 2-4 years experience in warehouse operations, preferably inbound/receiving.
  • Supervisory or team lead experience in a logistics or distribution environment.
  • Knowledge of WMS, inbound processes, QA checks, inventory handling, and discrepancy management.
  • Experience with TPR vendors, QA activities, special orders, retail ops, bundling, STO and CODA items is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and warehouse tools (scanners, MHE basics).
  • Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and coordinate multiple tasks.
  • Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends, or holidays as required.
