The Opportunity
We're hiring an In-House Video Editor to join a fast-growing DTC e-commerce brand and become a deeply integrated member of their internal creative team — owning both paid advertising assets and organic social storytelling, maintaining strict visual consistency across all channels, and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to bring compelling brand content to life.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
- Short-Form Video Production: Design and edit short-form video content for organic social channels and paid ad campaigns, ensuring each asset is optimized for its intended platform and audience.
- Testimonial & Interview Editing: Edit sit-down customer interview footage and testimonials into compelling, story-driven clips that authentically represent the brand and convert.
- UGC & Motion Content: Compile user-generated content into polished, engaging assets and build GIFs or motion content to elevate digital campaigns.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all content aligns tightly with brand voice, campaign goals, and legal guidelines — every asset should feel unmistakably on-brand.
- Creative Adaptation: Work from existing creative to resize, recut, add text overlays, and apply transitions that sharpen performance and refresh assets across formats.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Receive and implement creative direction and feedback from teammates while managing multiple projects to meet critical deadlines without dropping the ball.
What You Bring
- Proven Video Editing Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in video editing and design, with a portfolio that demonstrates work in the DTC, e-commerce, or tech space.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep proficiency in Adobe Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro) and CapCut, plus solid experience with color correction.
- Strong Creative Instincts: A sharp aesthetic eye and the ability to visualize a high-performing ad flow from hook to CTA — you understand what makes people stop scrolling and take action.
- Collaborative Communicator: A highly collaborative nature with impeccable communication skills and a genuine positive attitude toward building relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Project Management: Experience using task management platforms such as Asana or Monday to stay organized and keep projects moving in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Points if:
- You have experience creating content specifically for SaaS or tech companies.
- You're familiar with team communication tools like Slack and Gmail.

Depending on the client, there are sometimes 2 additional steps:
- Step 5 15-min Prep Call: We've got your back. Before the final round, your Recruiter will hop on a quick call to coach you, share insider tips, and ensure you're 100% ready.
- Step 6 Client Interview: You'll meet the client to discuss how you'll help them scale and succeed. Bring your metrics and be on your A-game — this is your last chance to make a great first impression!
