A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or any medical allied course.
Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office, using MS Word and MS Excel.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Job Description
Responsible for managing large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.
Delivers and render quality healthcare services to members.
Coordinates delivery of coverage to HMI members in the accredited network of hospitals and facilities.
Issues OPANs, referrals, and Letter of Authorization (LOA) for outpatient and in-patient procedures.
Principal Functions
Responsible for checking the admissions for HMI in various hospitals.
Monitors patients progress in the ward including the daily hospital bills of admitted patients and reviews itemized charges.
Informs patients/members of coverage as to room accommodation limits, PhilHealth requirement (if any) excess charges, etc., as well as procedurals in the hospital.
Assists patients who are for discharge, computes excess charges and items chargeable to patient.
Coordinates with the Physician in Charge (PIC) regarding admissions.
Calls Hospital Operations Department after making the rounds of all the patients and reports on the progress of these admissions.
Issues Letter of Authorization (LOA) for Out-Patient procedures and In-Patient availments, as endorsed by Immediate Head.
Collects outpatient ledgers of accredited physicians at designated times and collects hospital bills from certain hospitals.
May perform other duties as deemed necessary by the immediate head.
