Imports Demand and Supply Planner

The Imports Demand and Supply Planner is tasked to monitor and manage inventories and supply to support sales. The role is vital to the success of Landers operations by meeting customer demands, increasing efficiency, decreasing waste, managing working capital on inventories and lowering costs.

Function of the role include resolving inventory stock issues such as the depth, timing, and efficient flow of inventory to support financial objectives. Moreover, the Imports Planner is in charge of data gathering, inventory reporting and providing key insights to support management decisions such as inventory budget requirements and capacity plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather data to generate insights to come up with supply plan and support inventory needs
• Project forward-looking inventory positions and financial implications
• Facilitate collaboration meetings and communications with stakeholders and vendors to review volume projections, order requirements, and other operational issues
• Monitor movement of materials across Landers supply network
• Review and identify optimal stock levels and prevent short or excess inventory
• Review supplies to ensure quality, monitor stock levels and maintain accessibility to information
• Manage relationships with suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance to Landers requirements
• Engage with Merchandising Teams to conduct reviews on product range as well to identify trends across various categories
• Engage with Marketing and Promotions Teams to identify supply requirements and support campaigns and promotions

QUALIFICATIONS

• Educational Qualifications – Bachelor's Degree in Industrial / Management Engineering / Logistics and Supply Chain Management or any equivalent discipline
• Work Experience – At least three (3) years of experience in Supply Chain with at least two years in Demand and Supply Planning
• Knowledge and Abilities – The candidate must be knowledgeable in Supply and Demand Planning
• Technical Proficiency - Microsoft Office tools, SAP ERP, and other supply chain tools and platforms
