Role Description

The Import Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Makati City, responsible for overseeing end-to-end import operations and ensuring timely, compliant delivery of goods. This role manages documentation and coordination related to customs brokerage, ocean shipments, and forwarding, while maintaining accurate records and monitoring shipment status. The Import Supervisor collaborates with internal teams, external logistics partners, and customers to resolve issues, optimize processes, and uphold service standards. Daily tasks include reviewing import requirements, supervising staff or vendors involved in import activities, handling inquiries, and ensuring that all transactions comply with local regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong expertise in import processes, including Import procedures and Customs Brokerage.
  • Candidates should possess skills in logistics coordination, particularly with Ocean shipping and Forwarding.
  • Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills for effective communication with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Knowledge of Philippine customs regulations, trade compliance, and documentation requirements is highly beneficial.
  • Experience in supervising import or logistics teams, with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Office, logistics/ERP systems) and the ability to analyze shipment and cost data.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in Makati City and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
