Role Description The Import Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Parañaque, responsible for managing and coordinating import activities to ensure timely and compliant delivery of goods. This role includes preparing and reviewing import documentation, monitoring shipment status, and communicating with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues and avoid delays. The Import Specialist will work closely with customs brokers and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to international trade regulations and company policies. Daily responsibilities also involve maintaining accurate records, updating internal systems, providing responsive customer service on import-related inquiries, and contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Import and Import Export processes, including documentation, compliance, and customs procedures.
- Familiarity with Export and International Trade regulations, trade terms (Incoterms), and global logistics practices.
- Customer Service skills for handling client inquiries, resolving shipment issues, and maintaining professional relationships.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple shipments, deadlines, and documentation accurately.
- Ability to work on-site in Parañaque and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in basic office software and logistics or ERP systems; experience in freight forwarding or trading companies is an advantage.
- Relevant education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional language skills related to key trade regions are a plus.
