Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Check and prepare import draft documents.
  • Recording of incoming shipments
  • Familiarization of shipping rates with forwarder and shipping lines
  • Coordinate shipment status with brokers
  • Prepare and file monthly report with DENR
  • Application of Certificate of Exemption / Import Permit with government agencies (BPS)
  • Coordinate with accounting for payments
  • Coordinate through email with suppliers about the orders and documents.
  • Renewal of registration and certificates documentations with diff government agencies.
  • Send daily report on shipment status
  • Perform other tasks or special assignments as directed by the Superior and/or Management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Customs Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or any related course.
  • With experience in import/export documentation or related logistics work is an advantage.
  • Knowledgeable in importation procedures, customs documentation, and shipping requirements.
  • Familiar with preparing and processing documents such as Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Import Permits.
  • Experience coordinating with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • With good communication and coordination skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized in handling documents and records.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Preferably with knowledge of customs regulations and import compliance.
