Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal to support our immigration team in managing a range of UK immigration matters. The successful candidate will assist with case preparation, application processing, legal documentation, client communication, and compliance requirements while ensuring exceptional client service and adherence to UK immigration regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit UK visa and immigration applications, including:
- Skilled Worker Visas
- Sponsor Licence Applications
- Global Business Mobility Visas
- Student Visas
- Family and Partner Visas
- Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) Applications
- British Citizenship Applications
- Draft legal correspondence, application forms, supporting letters, and immigration submissions.
- Gather, review, and organize client documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct legal and factual research on UK immigration laws, policies, and Home Office guidance.
- Monitor application deadlines, visa expiry dates, and compliance requirements.
- Liaise with clients, employers, government agencies, and legal representatives regarding case progress.
- Maintain accurate case records and update case management systems.
- Support solicitors and immigration advisers with case preparation and client consultations.
- Keep up to date with changes to UK immigration legislation and Home Office procedures.
- Assist with sponsor licence compliance and right-to-work checks where required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience working as an Immigration Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or Immigration Caseworker.
- Strong understanding of UK immigration processes and Home Office requirements.
- Experience preparing UK visa and sponsorship applications is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and document management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Management, or a related field is preferred.
