This role advances and matures AIA's identity and security posture by optimizing Okta and Microsoft Entra ID capabilities in alignment with GIS standards. This role also provides expert guidance and advisory support to business units to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient identity and access management practices.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identity and Access Management: Design, implement, and maintain secure identity and access management solutions to mature the organization's security posture in line with GIS standards.
- Advisory: Provide guidance to business units on identity security best practices, application integration, and compliance requirements.
- Okta and Entra ID Engineering: Lead engineering efforts, including architecture, configuration, and optimization of identity workflows.
- Application Integration: Perform hands-on integration of applications for Single Sign-On (SSO) and secure authentication.
- Authentication & Authorization: Apply strong knowledge of user authentication and authorization methods to enforce least privilege and Zero Trust principles.
- Administration of Best Practices: Implement and maintain administration best practices, including tenant hygiene, policy enforcement, and lifecycle management.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor identity systems for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and compliance gaps; recommend and implement improvements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with GIS and application teams to align identity solutions with business needs and security requirements.
- Automation & DevOps: Utilize DevOps tools such as Terraform for infrastructure-as-code and automation of identity configurations and deployments (good to have).
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in User Access management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering, Information Systems or a related field
- Solid problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills; able to quickly understand issues encountered and recommend an appropriate solution
- Ability to document the work done to handover it for support to other teams
- Ability to self-study new things using all available resources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technical knowledge in Okta and Entra ID
- Professional qualifications like CISA, CISSP and relevant cloud security certificates are a plus.
