Overview
Responsible for studying, planning, architecting/creating, and managing reusable Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) solutions templates and integrations of various technologies like networks, hardware, cloud, business applications, security, and other tools or appliances to meet customer business needs or digital transformation challenges or initiatives for various enterprise industry verticals. The primary goal is to bridge the gap between business requirements and technology capabilities and advancements, ensuring that every solution is both technically sound and commercially viable.
Functions and Responsibilities
Product Development & Management
- Manage Product Development Life Cycle of ICT-related services covering cloud, cybersecurity, data center, connectivity, business communications and applications, systems, and platforms including managed services from conceptualization, product modeling, planning, development, and launch.
- Responsible for Product Business case, Budget, and P&L.
- Gain deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, and generate new product and services ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth.
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
- Develop product pricing, differentiation, and positioning.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and business process flow.
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
- Work closely with IT and engineering teams and internal support teams (marketing, operations, and billing) to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
- Drive product launches including working with sales and marketing teams, executives, and other product management team members.
- Evaluate promotional plans to ensure consistency with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.
- Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risk and escalations, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
- Conduct internal and partners trainings during product launches.
Pre-Sales Support
- Collaborate with sales teams during customer engagements, providing technical expertise in solution scoping, costing, and proposal creation.
- Deliver customer presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (POC) activities to validate solution designs.
Client Engagement
- Conduct technical workshops and discovery sessions with clients to capture requirements and translate them into solution blueprints.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through ICT adoption and digital transformation journeys.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Solutions teams to align solution designs with product portfolio strategy.
- Work with Service Fulfillment to ensure seamless transition from design to implementation.
Industry Knowledge
- Maintain strong awareness of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, 5G, edge computing, cybersecurity) and integrate them into solution roadmaps.
- Benchmark competitor offerings and provide input to improve solution competitiveness.
Employment Standards
- Licensed Electronics Engineer (ECE) mandatory requirement.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in solution design, pre-sales, or enterprise ICT consulting.
- Strong technical expertise in at least two ICT domains (Cloud, Security, Networking, Data Center, Collaboration, or IoT).
- Proven ability to design and present ICT architectures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, AWS/Azure Architect, CISSP, PMP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
