Key Responsibilities
1. Hydraulic Analysis & Design
- Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic studies, including river flow modeling, flood simulations, and watershed assessments.
- Design hydraulic structures such as drainage networks, culverts, canals, spillways, pump stations, and flood protection systems.
- Perform water surface profile computations, scour analysis, and sediment transport assessments.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
2. Technical Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare engineering reports, hydraulic calculations, design drawings, and technical specifications.
- Review and validate technical documents submitted by consultants, contractors, or project teams.
- Present findings, analyses, and recommendations to project managers and stakeholders.
3. Project Support & Coordination
- Provide technical input during project planning, permitting, procurement, and construction phases.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, geotechnical, environmental, and project management groups.
- Conduct site inspections to evaluate existing conditions, verify design assumptions, and support construction activities.
4. Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure hydraulic designs adhere to national regulations, industry standards, and project requirements.
- Implement quality control procedures and perform design checks on hydraulic deliverables.
- Support risk assessments, safety reviews, and environmental impact evaluations.
