About the job HVAC Tradesperson (ATP)
Reporting to the HVAC Supervisor, the HVAC Tradesperson is responsible for working within a team to carry out HVAC system installation and related tasks to achieve minimum production time and maximum quality, while maintaining a positive and motivated team environment.
Essential
Required Skills / Experience / Attributes:
- Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years experience in shipbuilding Industry.
- At least high school or technical training/vocational school graduate.
- At least 2 years experience in purge welding (T.I.G) stainless steel, Brazing copper and copper to stainless steel.
Desirable
- Problem-solving abilities
- Time management skills
- Capability to inspect defects and rectify
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and other requirements
- Can work with less supervision
