The HR Supervisor specializes in one or more HR facet and manages the day-to-day operations of a particular unit/s in the Human Resource & Admin Dept. of J&T Express, as well as the administration of the human resources policies, procedures, and programs. HR Supervisor generally handles one or more of the following facets: employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, compensation & benefits, recruitment, and employee data management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in a program of study related to Human Resources, Business Management, Sociology, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology
- Demonstrated experience in Human Resource
- At least 5 years of experience as HR Officer/Team Leader handling one or more facets of HR

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
- Oversees the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions under him/her; collaborates with hiring unit to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Implements on-boarding and training programs for HR Personnel under his/her responsibility.
- Performs routine supervision required to administer and execute human resource programs of the unit including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, as well as, complex and/or sensitive matters involving the unit/facet.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as needed.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
