What is this role about

The Specialist contributes in the development, communication, implementation, and review of programs/initiatives that foster a balanced work environment and promote employee engagement, mindfulness, motivation, welfare, and well-being.

In addition, the position/role also contributes in ensuring effective HR stakeholder management through the development, communication, implementation, and review of talent management programs across the organization. These programs focus on individual-level performance management, workforce planning, talent onboarding and retention, organizational design and review, and talent review and development.

Furthermore, this role directly supports the company's performance objectives by enhancing employee engagement and organizational effectiveness, leading to improved productivity, talent retention, and alignment with strategic goals.

What will YOU do

  • Facilitate initiatives to foster a positive workplace environment and enhance overall employee engagement and experience by organizing company-wide celebrations, social events, interest-based employee groups, wellness activities, and other themed activities.
  • Facilitate the performance review process for probationary and regular employees to ensure timely and accurate evaluation and endorsement of applicable rewards by coordinating schedules, tracking submissions, and consolidating results with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support workforce movements and organizational changes to ensure accurate and seamless HR transactions by coordinating hiring requests, transfers, progressions, exits, and structural changes with department heads and HR teams, and also by managing forms, templates, notices, announcements, and reports related to activities throughout the talent management cycle.
  • Conduct HR catch-up, stay, exit interviews and other interviews/ surveys to gather feedback and improve employee experience by meeting with Non-MANCOM and MANCOM employees and documenting key insights for reporting and intervention.
  • Maintain program databases and tracking tools to ensure up-to-date and accurate information management by updating files and records related to employee engagement and organizational effectiveness programs.
  • Facilitate talent development processes for promotion and succession to support employee growth and mastery by collecting and reviewing applications, tracking outcomes, and endorsing results for review.
  • Manage competency profiling for both Non-Mancom and Mancom roles to identify skill gaps and inform development plans by updating job and person profiles, analyzing core and functional competencies, and endorsing development interventions.
  • Generate reports on organizational effectiveness metrics to provide timely insights to decision-makers by preparing and submitting scheduled and ad hoc reports, in coordination with HR Partners and the Workforce Information Team.
  • Contribute strategic HR projects and initiatives to enhance organizational and talent health by supporting planning and execution efforts using metrics like capability, productivity, and retention.
  • Update HR Tools and Templates to ensure relevance and usability of team-managed resources by revising policies, guidelines, procedures, templates, and forms as needed.
  • Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.

What will YOU need

  • At least five years of experience in L&D, HRBP, Organization Development, and Employee Engagement
  • Adept in the following technical competencies: 1) Employee Engagement and Retention Management; 2) Attention to Detail; 3) Analytical Thinking; 4) Workforce Planning; 5) Talent Management; 6) Project Management; and 7) Training
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Pleasing personality
