Role Description
The HR Specialist supports the Human Resources department in the implementation of HR programs and day-to-day HR operations. The role assists in talent acquisition, employee onboarding, learning and development activities, employee engagement and internal communications, and HR records management to ensure efficient HR service delivery and compliance with company policies.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Assist in the end-to-end employee onboarding process and perform talent acquisition tasks to support the timely hiring and placement of qualified applicants under the guidance of the Human Resources Manager.
- Process manpower requests from departments and create job postings on job portals such as JobStreet, LinkedIn, and other recruitment platforms.
- Conduct and coordinate applicant screening activities, including scheduling employment interviews and collecting applicant documents such as application letters, resumes, and supporting credentials.
Learning & Development Support
- Arrange and coordinate learning programs, including venue preparation, logistical requirements for resource persons or training providers, and attendance coordination.
Employee Support & HR Administration
- Respond to employee inquiries and requests within the scope of authority and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Maintain and update employee 201 files, employee databases, and other HR records in both physical and electronic formats.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or any related field.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, preferably in recruitment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willing to be assigned in Port of Zamboanga, Zamboanga City.
