Role Overview
You will own the complete front half of the employee lifecycle, from the moment a vacancy is approved to the point an employee is fully competent and productive. This is not an administrative support role. This role directly determines company growth, employee retention and team performance.
Core Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full hiring lifecycle for assigned departments, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and closing.
- Sourcing Strategies: Proactively search for candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking events, referrals, and creative sourcing techniques to build diverse talent pipelines.
- Screening & Assessment: Conduct initial phone screens, coordinate panel interviews, and assess candidate qualifications against job requirements to ensure high-quality hires.
- Onboarding: Design and execute a structured onboarding program to ensure new hires have a smooth, welcoming transition, including orientation sessions and 30/60/90-day check-ins.
- Employer Branding: Collaborate with marketing/communications to promote the company culture and career opportunities across social media, career fairs, and community events.
- HRIS & ATS Management: Maintain accurate applicant tracking system (ATS) data, generate recruitment reports, and ensure compliance with hiring regulations.
Training & Development
- New Hire Training: Conduct basic onboarding and orientation sessions for newly hired employees to help them understand company policies, procedures, culture, and role expectations.
- Training Coordination: Coordinate with department managers to identify employee training needs and gaps.
- External Training: Coordinate with third-party training providers to arrange appropriate training programs, seminars, and workshops based on identified employee development needs.
- Training Administration: Assist in scheduling training sessions, coordinating participants, and maintaining training attendance and completion records.
- Training Support: Assist in evaluating training effectiveness and gathering feedback to ensure training programs address identified needs.
General
- Contribute to quarterly people reporting and HR strategy
- Maintain full compliance with all local labour and employment law
- Support other general HR activities on an ad hoc basis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a similar HR role.
- Experience handling end-to-end recruitment for different job functions is preferred.
- Experience conducting new hire orientation or employee training is an advantage.
- Experience coordinating with external training providers is preferred.
- Good knowledge of recruitment practices and basic understanding of Philippine labor laws and employment regulations.
- Strong interviewing, communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple vacancies and HR activities simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and familiar with online recruitment platforms.
- Ability to build good working relationships with candidates, hiring managers, employees, and external partners.
