Role Description This Human Resources Payroll role at POWERCHINA is a contract, on-site position based in Pakil. The role is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing, including timekeeping validation, salary computation, statutory deductions, and payroll disbursement in coordination with finance. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate employee records, updating HR and payroll databases, preparing payroll reports, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies. The role also supports HR operations such as onboarding documentation, benefits administration, and responses to employee queries related to compensation and benefits. The individual in this role is expected to collaborate closely with HR, finance, and project teams to ensure timely and accurate payroll and personnel administration.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in Human Resources (HR) operations and HR Management, with the ability to support day-to-day HR and payroll activities.
  • Knowledge of HR Policies and Employee Benefits, including compliance with local labor regulations and company standards.
  • Skills in Personnel Management, such as maintaining employee records, handling confidential information, and supporting workforce administration.
  • Previous experience in payroll processing, timekeeping, and coordination with finance or accounting teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and proficiency with HRIS or payroll systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site project environment.
  • Relevant education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field; professional HR or payroll certifications are an advantage.
  • Experience in construction, engineering, or project-based industries is beneficial.
