Provide strategic leadership and overall direction to the Human Resources & Development Department by aligning people strategies with organizational goals. Lead the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR programs, policies, and workforce initiatives while serving as a trusted advisor to management on talent, employee relations, labor compliance, and organizational development. Ensure the achievement of departmental objectives, drive operational excellence, and foster a high-performing, engaged, and compliant workforce.
Responsibilities
- Manages, plans/strategizes for, controls, and supervises all the sections of the HRD Department and their activities.
- Manages, plans/strategizes for, controls, and supervises the HRD Cluster and their activities.
- HRDD cluster's goals in alignment to that of the Company, including the cluster's KRAs-KPIs, and its implementation, periodic monitoring, and achievement.
- Ensures HRDD cluster's identified goals, including the cluster's KRAs-KPIs, and its implementation, periodic monitoring, and achievement are being met.
- Prepares, submits, and discusses reports with the VP-Administration from time to time.
- Requires reports with proper documentary evidence from the cluster
- Advises and assists management in formulating and administering personnel policies and programs
- Advises and assists management in the promotion of sound employee-management relations
- Advises and gives support to line personnel (managers & department heads) in implementing personnel policies and programs.
- Advises and assists employees in general in solving issues which affect their employment
- Attends to government and public relations relative to labor and employment.
- Coordinates with counsel regarding legal issues affecting labor.
- Coordinates and deals with security service providers and / or agency
- Assists in formulating communications/documentation of directives/other policies for implementation
- Participates in regular/special meetings and reports updates with the VP-Administration
- Performs other related tasks that may be assigned by the VP-Administration from time to time.
Qualifications
- Graduate of any relevant Social Science Course or BS course. (Preferably, Psychology, Law, Behavioral Science, Philosophy, Human Resource Management, Industrial Engineering)
- With at least 10 years of relevant experience focused in HRDD operations
- With Leadership Skills (Decision Making, Situational, etc.)
- Keen to details and with logical and analytical thinking skills
- Highly articulate with superb verbal and written communications skills
- A professional with untainted work ethics and integrity
- Highly skilled in people handling
- With working knowledge of Philippine Labor Laws, as well as Obligations and Contracts and Legal Procedures.
