As Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for all human resource initiatives and programs across the organization; directly contributing to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with the All employees, Enterprise-wide Corporate Service Units HR, President and COO, as well as relevant external stakeholders to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

The Human Resources Manager requires a people- and quality-oriented outlook in fulfilling the mandate of the role, and HR as a whole, where relationship-building, communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities are crucial.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be

  • Translates organizational strategy into DU-specific HR plans & programs that align with the company's overall strategic objectives. Works with the DU COO, AP DU HR Head and other team leaders to implement such plans & programs.
  • Participates in group wide/corporate discussions and other collaborative sessions on strategic initiatives.
  • Manages service level agreements or metrics for attraction, retention & optimization, i.e., recruitment, performance management, learning & development, key talent review, individual development planning, workforce planning, Engg Corps, other organizational performance measures such as the Balanced Scorecard, etc. Provides regular reporting during ExComs, HR Comms, and to AP Distribution Utilities/1Aboitizpower/AboitizEquityVentures as needed.
  • Implements groupwide systems to effectively manage key performance metrics and people analytics. Ensures alignment of standards with the holdings company and/or other business units, and reports on exceptions.
  • Oversees the effective administration of employee benefits and monitors the effectiveness of payroll providers. Guides top management through the annual merit and bonus process, promotions, and all other off-cycle salary adjustments. Provides recommendations in entry rates and other compben items.
  • Implements group wide scholarship programs.
  • Assesses HR team effectiveness and competencies and provides for individual continued learning and development.
  • Spearheads proactive programs to enhance communication and inter-relationships that will improve employee productivity and promote healthy labor-management relations.
  • Ensures the application of the company code of discipline. Oversees grievance handling and provides win-win solutions to resolve conflicts.
  • Formulates, monitors and controls HR dept. budget.
  • Prepares, signs and disseminates relevant memos.
  • Manages the risks associated with the department's business operation through effective implementation of the operational risk management plan.
  • Acts as the Internal Communication
  • Ensures that communications are coordinated and according to crisis communications protocol
  • Communication teams shall be the repository of information about the incident.
  • Ensure department goals and development plans are aligned with the organization's objectives and attained in the best means possible.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance and development of department team members knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborates and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders on processes, systems and recommends plans and programs
  • Prepare, recommend and monitor department's requirements on materials, equipment and manpower.

To Succeed In This Role, We Need Someone Who

  • Bachelor's degree in any relevant field of study
  • At least 5 years of experience in human resources, HR Business Partnering experience is preferred.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory position
