About the Role
As the HR Manager, you will lead both talent acquisition and HR business partnering across the organization and its venture companies. You will work closely with leaders to translate business priorities into workforce plans, recruit critical talent, strengthen people practices, and build an engaging, high-performance culture.
This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic judgment and strong execution. You will manage the full talent lifecycle—from workforce planning and recruitment to performance, engagement, development, employee relations, and retention—while ensuring that people initiatives remain aligned with the organization's goals and changing needs.
What You'll Do
Strategic People Partnership and Workforce Planning
- Partner with leaders to understand business priorities, organizational challenges, and workforce requirements.
- Translate business needs into practical people strategies, workforce plans, role requirements, and hiring priorities.
- Advise leaders on organizational design, team effectiveness, employee development, retention, and other people-related decisions.
- Support organizational development and change-management initiatives as the business evolves.
Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle, from role intake and sourcing to assessment, offer management, and onboarding.
- Develop sourcing strategies for leadership, specialist, and core operational positions.
- Establish structured and consistent candidate assessment and interview practices.
- Continuously improve recruitment workflows, ATS utilization, hiring efficiency, and candidate experience.
- Lead employer-branding initiatives in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future workforce needs.
Performance, Learning, and Talent Development
- Manage performance processes, including goal setting, coaching, feedback, performance reviews, and development planning.
- Partner with leaders to identify capability gaps and implement relevant learning and development initiatives.
- Support succession planning and identify opportunities to develop and retain high-potential employees.
- Ensure individual and team objectives remain aligned with business priorities.
Employee Engagement, Experience, and Culture
- Design and implement initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Gather and assess employee feedback through surveys, discussions, and other listening channels.
- Champion the organization's culture, values, and mission throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Promote open communication and a positive, inclusive, and high-accountability work environment.
Employee Relations and Compliance
- Guide leaders and employees on workplace concerns, performance issues, conflict resolution, and employee relations matters.
- Ensure HR policies, processes, and employment practices comply with Philippine labor laws and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Identify people-related risks and recommend timely, practical solutions.
People Operations, Systems, and Analytics
- Improve HR processes and systems to support an efficient and consistent employee experience.
- Use recruitment and HR data to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Develop dashboards and reports covering hiring performance, workforce movements, engagement, retention, and other relevant people metrics.
- Use data-driven insights to recommend and prioritize people and talent initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with substantial hands-on experience in both talent acquisition and HR business partnering or generalist HR.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end recruitment for leadership, specialist, and operational positions.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders on workforce planning, organizational development, performance management, and employee-related decisions.
- Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws, employee relations, HR policies, and compliance requirements.
- Experience designing or implementing employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, and retention initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, candidate assessment, structured interviewing, and employer branding.
- Strong sense of ownership over projects and a demonstrated ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
