Job Summary

The Human Resource – Employee Services Intern supports the HR Employee Services team in delivering efficient and accurate HR support to employees. This role provides hands-on exposure to core HR operations, employee records management, and employee query resolution, helping ensure a positive employee experience and compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Services Support

  • Assist in responding to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, payroll, attendance, and employment records.
  • Support the management of HR tickets or cases through an employee services or helpdesk system.
  • Escalate complex concerns to appropriate HR teams when necessary.

HR Operations & Administration

  • Assist in maintaining and updating employee records in HRIS or internal databases.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding documentation and coordination.
  • Help prepare employment-related documents such as certificates, letters, and confirmations.
  • Assist in processing employee data changes (personal information, job updates, status changes).

Documentation & Compliance

  • Ensure proper filing and organization of HR documents in both electronic and physical formats.
  • Support HR audits, compliance checks, and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee data at all times.

Reporting & Process Support

  • Assist in preparing basic HR reports, trackers, and dashboards.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and documentation of standard operating procedures.
  • Perform other HR administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace (Excel, Word, Email).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented and service-focused mindset.
