Qualifications
- BS Psychology or Human Resource Management
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Good communication skills (written/oral)
- Organizational, monitoring, and negotiation skills
- Strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Solid understanding of labor laws and regulations in the Philippines
Duties And Responsibilities
This persons primary responsibility is to introduce policies and procedures that focus on the improvement of the performance of employees, maintain a high level of employees satisfaction, and preserve a distinctive corporate culture.
Responsibilities
- Defines clear job descriptions and duties and responsibilities and ensures they are up to date.
- Analyze trends in compensation. Set simple and performance-driven compensation strategies for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date.
- Create direct communication channels for the smooth flow of information.
- Build a friendly but professional corporate culture and drive the engagement of all employees.
- Fill vacant positions.
- Develop talents through training and seminars that will enhance their capability and expand their knowledge for them to perform their duties and responsibilities.
- Identify talents from the existing pool of employees for promotion or advancement.
- Ensure compliance of all departments and branches to company policies.
- To continuously come up with improvements that can be implemented to the company policies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, and due process in handling employee disciplinary measures and conduct administrative hearings and investigations if necessary.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Maintain and update 201 Files of employees.
- Handles the recruitment of managerial and executive positions, including sourcing, screening, administering exams, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Performs background investigation and coordinate with the credit personnel handling CIC and NFIS to obtain credit report of qualified applicants.
- Supervise the recruitment process of rank & file and supervisory positions.
- Supervise the preparation of time record and payroll of employees and ensures its accuracy.
- Monitors leave balance of employees.
- Checks the monthly remittances and loan payments to government agencies.
- Process the sickness and maternity benefit of employees.
- Monitors the status of Clearance, Disabling of User Access, and deletion from health and life insurances of resigned employees.
- Process the last pay and retirement benefit of resigned employees.
- Conducts and analyze exit interview and recommend changes or improvement.
- Handles administrative cases of employees to include investigation, disciplinary, and termination procedures.
- Conducts performance evaluation and salary review.
- Coordinates with the Safety Officer in promoting a safe work environment.
- Prepares BIR annual reports such as Alphalist and BIR Form 2316 of employees.
- Prepares reports/letters to Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC), and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
- Create and develop training programs for employee development and company needs.
- Planning and delegating responsibilities for company events.
- Updates the HR Department manual, Company Policy and Procedures, Table of Organization, Salary Matrix, Retention Program, and Succession Plans.
- Attend the regular Management and HR Committee Meetings.
- Other duties that may be assigned by the President from time to time.
