HR Generalist (Bostik Philippines Tanay Manufacturing Plant)
Job Responsibilities & Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Staffing
- Manage endtoend hiring for plant and officebased roles (screening, interviewing, job offers).
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires assigned to the manufacturing plant.
- Maintain updated manpower profiles and support workforce planning requirements.
2. Employee & Labor Relations
- Address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and support disciplinary actions following company guidelines and the Labor Code.
- Assist in handling CBA concerns (if applicable), engagements with workers representatives, and plantlevel ER initiatives.
- Maintain harmonious working relationships across production shifts and support cyclecount feedback mechanisms (pulse checks, skip-level check-ins).
3. Timekeeping & HR Administration
- Oversee daily timekeeping, shift schedules, OT requests, and attendance validation for plant employees.
- Ensure timely processing of payroll-related inputs (absences, leaves, overtime, night shift diff, allowances).
- Maintain employee records, 201 files, and HRIS updates.
4. Training & Development
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for plant personnel together with Production and EHS.
- Coordinate mandatory trainings (e.g., Safety Orientation, GMP, ISO, compliance training).
- Track training records, evaluate effectiveness, and support capabilitybuilding programs.
5. Health, Safety & Compliance
- Partner with EHS and Security teams to ensure HR-related compliance in the plant (PPE monitoring, medical requirements, annual PE, drug testing).
- Ensure compliance with DOLE requirements (e.g., Establishment Report, AEP if necessary, OSH compliance, SENA handling).
- Assist in audit preparation (internal audits, corporate audits, ISO audits).
6. Performance Management
- Facilitate performance review cycles, assist supervisors and managers on evaluation processes.
- Support coaching and documentation of performance improvement plans.
7. Employee Engagement & Culture Building
- Organize plantbased engagement activities (recognition, town halls, social events).
- Run communication cascades and monitor employee feedback for continuous improvement.
8. HR Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Support implementation of HR systems, process improvements, and automation.
- Assist in change management initiatives and crossfunctional projects within the plant.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Behavioral Science, or related field.
- 35 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in manufacturing, plant operations, or industrial environments.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of the Philippine Labor Code and DOLE regulatory requirements.
- Experience in timekeeping systems, HRIS, and payroll coordination.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, GMP, or 5S is an advantage.
- Competent in MS Office and HR documentation/reporting.

Other Requirements
