About the Company

We are looking for a versatile and data-driven HR Generalist to join our team. While you will touch all facets of the HR lifecycle, your primary mission will be to lead our Compensation & Benefits strategy and manage Employee Relations. The ideal candidate isn't just a people person—you are a strategic thinker who understands that a happy workforce is built on fair pay, robust benefits, and a transparent, supportive work environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a versatile and data-driven HR Generalist to join our team. While you will touch all facets of the HR lifecycle, your primary mission will be to lead our Compensation & Benefits strategy and manage Employee Relations.

Responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits (Primary Focus)

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure 100% accuracy.
  • Conduct regular market benchmarking to ensure our salary structures remain competitive.
  • Administer health, retirement, and wellness programs, acting as the main point of contact for providers and employees.
  • Lead the annual performance review and merit increase cycles.

Employee Relations (Primary Focus)

  • Act as a trusted advisor to both managers and employees to resolve workplace conflicts.
  • Conduct thorough and objective internal investigations when necessary.
  • Ensure all HR practices comply with local, state, and federal labor laws.
  • Draft and update company policies to reflect a modern, inclusive workplace culture.

HR Generalist Facets

  • Talent Acquisition: Support hiring managers with job postings and initial screenings.
  • Onboarding: Create a seamless Day 1 experience for new hires.
  • Compliance: Maintain digital employee records and ensure audit readiness.
  • Culture: Assist in organizing engagement initiatives and team-building events.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years in an HR Generalist or Specialist role, with documented experience in payroll/benefits administration.
  • Compliance Guru: Strong knowledge of labor laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA) and ER best practices.
  • Data Driven: High proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and experience with HRIS platforms.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional emotional intelligence, discretion, and the ability to navigate gray areas with logic and empathy.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field (SHRM or HRCI certification is a huge plus).

Required Skills

  • 3–5 years in an HR Generalist or Specialist role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws.
  • High proficiency in Excel.
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence.

Preferred Skills

  • SHRM or HRCI certification.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms.
