About the Role
We are looking for a versatile and data-driven HR Generalist to join our team. While you will touch all facets of the HR lifecycle, your primary mission will be to lead our Compensation & Benefits strategy and manage Employee Relations.
Responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits (Primary Focus)
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure 100% accuracy.
- Conduct regular market benchmarking to ensure our salary structures remain competitive.
- Administer health, retirement, and wellness programs, acting as the main point of contact for providers and employees.
- Lead the annual performance review and merit increase cycles.
Employee Relations (Primary Focus)
- Act as a trusted advisor to both managers and employees to resolve workplace conflicts.
- Conduct thorough and objective internal investigations when necessary.
- Ensure all HR practices comply with local, state, and federal labor laws.
- Draft and update company policies to reflect a modern, inclusive workplace culture.
HR Generalist Facets
- Talent Acquisition: Support hiring managers with job postings and initial screenings.
- Onboarding: Create a seamless Day 1 experience for new hires.
- Compliance: Maintain digital employee records and ensure audit readiness.
- Culture: Assist in organizing engagement initiatives and team-building events.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years in an HR Generalist or Specialist role, with documented experience in payroll/benefits administration.
- Compliance Guru: Strong knowledge of labor laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA) and ER best practices.
- Data Driven: High proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and experience with HRIS platforms.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional emotional intelligence, discretion, and the ability to navigate gray areas with logic and empathy.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field (SHRM or HRCI certification is a huge plus).
Required Skills
