Job Description

Key Areas of Responsibility

Employee Relations

Manage and oversee all employee relations concerns, ensuring policies and procedures are applied fairly and consistently. Advise and support leaders on workplace issues, including conflict management and disciplinary processes. Promote a healthy and engaging work culture through employee engagement initiatives and programs.

DOLE Compliance

Maintain full compliance with labor laws and regulations mandated by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). Stay informed of updates in employment legislation and ensure company policies and practices are revised accordingly. Act as the primary representative of the organization in dealings with labor authorities and in legal or compliance-related matters.

Policy Development and Review

Create, evaluate, and implement HR policies and best practices that support business goals and meet legal standards. Regularly assess policies for clarity, consistency, and effectiveness, introducing improvements when necessary. Oversee the development and maintenance of the employee handbook and related policy documents.

HR Business Partnership

Work closely with business leaders to ensure HR strategies support overall organizational objectives. Provide strategic guidance and recommendations on workforce planning, organizational development, and performance enhancement. Lead initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, experience, and retention.

HR Communication and Leadership

Guide the HR team in effectively communicating policies, procedures, and initiatives throughout the organization. Ensure transparency and clarity in all HR communications across all levels. Mentor and develop HR team members to support their ongoing professional growth.

Lead and manage special projects as assigned by the VP of Human Resources or as required in the course of business operations.
