Job Description

Company Overview:

Homeaglow is a start-up technology company that offers cleaning services via a platform-based booking system. Our mission is to create better lives by being the most efficient platform for home services.

We've been in operation since 2016 and currently service 50 US markets with 20,000 cleaning jobs worked per week.

About the Role:

Homeaglow is a bootstrapped, profitable, high-growth home-cleaning marketplace operating at a nine-figure revenue scale. We're looking for an organized, proactive HR Coordinator to support our Head of HR across recruiting, onboarding, offboarding and day-to-day People operations.

This is a hands-on role for someone who likes keeping many moving pieces on track. You'll be the person who makes sure candidates hear back, hiring managers stay on schedule, new hires have what they need on day one, and nothing falls through the cracks. You'll work remotely with a US-based team in a written-first culture, so clear communication and follow-through are essential.

What You'll Do

  • Calendar management: Own the Head of HR's calendar. Schedule interviews, meetings and follow-ups across US time zones, and resolve conflicts before they become problems.
  • Hiring coordination: Follow up with hiring managers and candidates so every candidate moves through the process quickly and gets professional experience.
  • Sourcing: Find qualified candidates for open roles using LinkedIn, job boards and other channels, and build pipelines for roles we hire for repeatedly.
  • Recruiting: Reach out to candidates, pitch Homeaglow and the role, and keep candidates engaged from first contact through offer.
  • Initial screens: Run first-round interviews, assess candidates against role requirements, and write clear, concise summaries and recommendations for hiring managers.
  • Onboarding: Help new employees and contractors get set up: paperwork, accounts, equipment, welcome communications and first-week schedules.
  • Offboarding: Coordinate departures, including access removal, equipment return, final documentation and exit steps.
  • Weekly reporting: Keep weekly project and recruiting reports up to date in Google Sheets, covering pipeline status, open roles, onboarding progress and other HR metrics.
  • Special projects: Support HR initiatives as they come up, such as policy updates, process improvements, audits and employee programs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in HR, recruiting or talent acquisition, ideally supporting US-based companies.
  • Hands-on sourcing and recruiting experience, including LinkedIn Recruiter or similar tools.
  • Experience running candidate screening interviews and writing clear candidate assessments.
  • Excellent written and spoken English. You'll be the first voice many US candidates hear from Homeaglow.
  • Strong organization and calendar-management skills. You track details without reminders.
  • Comfort with Google Workspace (Calendar, Gmail, Sheets, Docs) and Slack. Experience with an applicant tracking system is a plus.
  • Discretion and good judgment with confidential employee and candidate information.
  • Self-starter who works well independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace.

Nice to have:

  • Experience supporting an executive or HR leader directly.
  • Familiarity with US hiring practices and onboarding workflows.
  • Experience recruiting for a range of roles (finance, marketing, engineering, operations).
  • Interest in using AI tools (like Claude) to work faster and smarter.
  • Engagement Details
