Job Summary
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to manufacturing leaders, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives to drive organizational effectiveness, workforce capability, and operational excellence. This role is responsible for delivering end-to-end HR support while leading key HR projects and driving people strategies in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Partnership
- Partner with plant/manufacturing leaders to understand business goals and translate them into HR strategies and actionable plans
- Provide insights on workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers on leadership, team effectiveness, and change management
2. HR Project Management
- Lead and implement HR projects such as organizational restructuring, engagement programs, performance management enhancements, and process improvements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with operational efficiency and productivity
- Ensure timely execution of HR deliverables across multiple stakeholders
3. Talent Management & Development
- Support talent acquisition strategies for critical roles, particularly technical and hard-to-fill positions
- Identify capability gaps and partner with L&D on upskilling and development programs
- Facilitate performance management cycles, calibration sessions, and talent reviews
4. Employee Relations & Culture
- Handle complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Promote a positive employee experience and strong workplace culture within the manufacturing site
- Support engagement initiatives and retention strategies
5. HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with labor regulations and internal standards
- Monitor HR metrics (attrition, absenteeism, productivity, etc.) and provide actionable insights
- Collaborate with COEs (Comp & Ben, Talent Acquisition, L&D) for seamless HR service delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in an HR Business Partner role
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and employee relations handling
