The HRBP acts as a strategic and operational HR partner to assigned business units, ensuring that people strategies, processes, and programs are aligned with Flatworld's goals for productivity, engagement, compliance, and employee development.
The role balances strategic advisory, hands-on execution, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver a seamless employee experience across the employee life cycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Business Partner Support
- Serve as the HR focal point for assigned business units, collaborating closely with Operations, Recruitment, and L&D.
- Translate business goals into HR deliverables that drive performance, engagement, and retention.
- Participate in monthly business reviews and provide HR data insights (attrition, absenteeism, tenure, performance metrics).
- Partner with leadership on manpower forecasting, workforce optimization, and employee readiness for ramp-ups.
2. Talent Management
- Support the implementation of learning plans, career pathing, and leadership development programs.
- Conduct talent assessments and succession planning in coordination with L&D.
- Recommend interventions to address performance gaps, training needs, and readiness for internal promotions.
3. Employee Engagement and Retention

- Drive engagement initiatives through pulse surveys, stay interviews, and employee feedback sessions.
- Monitor team engagement levels and provide actionable plans to improve morale and motivation.
- Support site-level events and recognition programs that reinforce Flatworld's core values and culture.
- Track and analyze attrition drivers; implement data-driven retention initiatives.
4. Employee Relations and Compliance
- Handle employee relations cases including attendance issues, policy violations, and grievance handling in compliance with Philippine Labor Code.
- Conduct clarificatory hearings, prepare NTE/IR documents, and ensure due process.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation (201 files, memos, CL/DAF, etc.) and support internal/external audits.
- Partner with Legal, Payroll, and Admin to ensure zero compliance gaps.
5. HR Operations Excellence
- Conduct onboarding sessions with the new hires and new leaders, movement, and offboarding within assigned accounts.
- Ensure payroll inputs (transfers, deductions, incentives) are accurate and submitted on time.
- Monitor HR service delivery SLAs and ensure timely closure of employee tickets.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement in HR workflows.
6. Data Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare and present monthly HR scorecards for assigned business units.
- Track key HR metrics including attrition, absenteeism, training compliance, and engagement results.
- Recommend policy or program changes based on data insights and business needs.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory or business partnering role, ideally in a BPO or shared services environment.
- Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws and HR operational processes.
- Proficiency in HR analytics, workforce planning, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience using HR systems (Sprout HR, ProHance, or equivalent) preferred.
