Overview: Specialized in any one and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the following critical CBHRS functions: payroll administration, benefits administration, compensation management, or HR information management. Monitors and takes charge of all escalated issues and concerns. Works with the HR Manager/Sr. Manager in developing, revising and/or implementing policies or its corresponding changes for the function. Oversees the key deliverables and development of their direct reports.
Function: Payroll
- Responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of semi-monthly payroll and other pay-related activities (13th month pay, leave encashment, incentives, bonuses, final pay, etc.), ensuring close coordination with POCs, management, partner banks and other concerned parties.
- Responsible for end-to-end activities of time and labor process.
- Addresses concerns, issues and disputes regarding payroll, time and labor, and final pay.
- Conducts regular audits and counterchecks before any disbursement.
- Audits and counterchecks entries in un-posted payroll register before disbursement.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of payroll-related and government reports.
Function: Benefits
- Responsible for proper administration, management, and communication of all company-granted and government-mandated benefits. Regularly coordinates with benefits providers with regards to membership, claims, disputes, billing, etc. Keeps abreast of any changes to or new government regulations that pertains to benefits.
- Oversees the clinic management function, ensuring timely and effective delivery of health and wellness programs. Closely coordinates with the clinic nurses and doctors in planning, designing and executing these programs. Facilitates maintenance of clinic facilities.
- Addresses concerns and issues raised with regards to benefits policies or availment. Recommends changes to or new policies.
- Ensures proper documentation of all travel-related activities (visa, work permit, etc.). Keeps abreast of latest developments and changes with regards to visa and work permit processing.
- Provides standard or adhoc reports on benefit-related items. Ensures timely submission of regular standard reports both to management, government agencies, and the likes.
Function: Compensation
- Manages and maintains up-to-date job descriptions and coordinates with respective departments/accounts in ensuring these are regularly updated. Maintains the job description database.
- Ensures timely participation and submission of company data to survey vendors. This includes collection of participant guides, data collection kit and preparation of job matching templates. Works with the respective departments / accounts in ensuring proper job matches are reported.
- Provides market data analysis for survey-related activities such as position-to-market reports, job pricing, benefits analysis, and other Compensation studies (TTC vs performance bonus, incentive
- scheme, premium analysis, Total rem, etc.).
- Generates analysis for compensation-related payouts, such as performance/scorecard bonuses, MI recommendations, etc.
Function: HR Information Management
- Ensures proper execution of records retention policy and guidelines in the organization.
- Oversees data management (201 and HR system database) and make certain that data obtained from the team is reliable and accurate.
- Responsible for headcount reporting and analysis.
- Manages the HR Helpdesk and recommends process improvements to other C&B functional areas.
- Prepares and delivers standard and adhoc management reports.
Function: General HR
- Ensures changes to policies, processes or guidelines are properly communicated via road shows, econnections, or the likes, as it relates to CBHRS. Assists the HR Manager / Sr Manager in developing, revising and/or implementing policies for the function.
- Oversees day-to-day work and deliverables of his/her direct reports. Provides developmental opportunities, training or coaching.
- Supports CBHRS major initiatives, and can act as a prime for 1-2 projects on an annual basis.
Required skills + qualities (technical):
- Bachelor's Degree in any field.
- Two (2) to three (3) years Human Resources experience in a Supervisory capacity, preferably within thecall center, customer service, or consulting industry.
- Good working knowledge in compensation & benefits principles and practices. Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Good supervisory and people-management skills. Time and project management skills. Multi-tasking skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Fluency in the English language. Adaptive to changing work schedules and working hours. Working knowledge of government regulations that impact compensation and salary management. Familiarization with the Philippine Labor Code on compensation / salary-related issues Proficiency with MS Office applications (i.e. MS Word, Excel) required. Basic knowledge of call center operations preferred. Great Customer orientation. Problem-Solving, Decision-Making, and Analytical skills.
