Human Resources Assistant

The HR Generalist position will be assigned to San Miguel Equity Investments, Inc. (SMEII), a wholly owned subsidiary of San Miguel Corporation (SMC) that oversees the Group's cement manufacturing and heavy building materials businesses, including its investments in Northern Cement Corporation and Eagle Cement Corporation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing Payroll & Salaries: Researching market pay to keep wages competitive and setting fair salary ranges for all positions.
• Administering Perks & Insurance: Overseeing health plans, retirement benefits, and paid time off, including leading the yearly open enrollment.
• Resolving Employee Queries: Acting as the main contact for staff regarding paycheck discrepancies, insurance coverage, and claims.
• Ensuring Legal Compliance: Making sure all pay practices, overtime regulations, and benefit offerings comply with local labor laws.
• Maintaining System Data: Updating employee compensation data, job titles, and sensitive health records securely in the HR system.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of BS Psychology, Human Resource Development Management or equivalent
• With at least 2 years of working experience in the related field
• Was able to handle a client or came from a manufacturing company
• Ability to communicate and interact with colleagues in the different levels of management
• Strong analytical and planning skills
