NUH Internship Programme (Jan 2027 – Jun 2027)
Curious about the inner workings of a hospital Join NUH on a 6-month full time internship to gain a comprehensive understanding of the operational aspects of healthcare organisations. Explore critical functions of hospital administration such as operations, human resource, communications, and quality improvement that support the smooth delivery of patient care.

Roles and Responsibilities
Provide support to HR Business Partner, Nursing on end-to-end employee lifecycle matters (but not limited to which):
a) Recruitment
- Assist in shortlisting process, interview scheduling, offer process and onboarding process
b) Employee Engagement
- Provide support in HR advisory support to line managers on staff matters
- Assist in disciplinary matters and staff grievances surfaced by departments
c) Data Management and Analysis
- Provide support in organizing and maintaining data sets to ensure accuracy and accessibility for analysis.
- Take part in generating reports, analysing data and derive meaningful insights.
d) Nursing Students Scholarship and Sponsorship
- Participate in outreach activities (internal and external) and assist in logistics preparation
- Assist in branding efforts, which may include designing publicity materials for events and implementation of new HR schemes (where applicable)
- Assist in paperwork required for administration of sponsorship (e.g. interview scheduling, preparation of offer letters)
- Take part in planning of scholars engagement activities and events
Requirements
- Meticulous and well-organized
- Strong communication skills and able to work well as a team-player
- Strong analytical thinking skills with a keen attention to detail
- Possess good time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and preferably in Microsoft Excel and Canva
