Work Schedule: 9:00 AM 1:00 PM (PST / US Time Zone)

Job Summary

The Virtual Assistant - Human Resource Assistant provides HR administrative and operational support to a client of Office Beacon Philippines. The role is responsible for maintaining HR records, assisting in recruitment and employee lifecycle processes, and supporting the implementation of HR policies and programs in accordance with applicable labor regulations. The position requires professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently while reporting through Office Beacon's management structure.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage employee records and HR documentation using designated HR systems
  • Support recruitment activities including candidate screening, interview coordination, reference checking, and onboarding
  • Assist in employee offboarding, documentation, and exit interview coordination
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, and internal guidelines
  • Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and proper filing of HR records and reports
  • Serve as an HR support point for employee and client-related HR inquiries
  • Assist in administering HR programs related to benefits, compensation, performance, and training
  • Provide regular updates and reports to Office Beacon and the assigned client as required
  • Perform other HR-related administrative tasks assigned by management or the client

Qualifications

  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a senior HR assistant or HR generalist role
  • Experience supporting or consulting for US-based or California-based clients is an advantage
  • Knowledge of HR compliance and labor regulations
  • Proficiency in HR systems and payroll platforms (HR Cloud and ADP preferred)
  • SHRM or equivalent HR certification preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Work Conditions

  • On-site work arrangement (no remote or work-from-home setup)
  • Part-time schedule aligned with PST (US time zone)

Reporting Relationship

The Virtual Assistant - Human Resource Assistant is employed by Office Beacon Philippines and reports operationally to the assigned client, with administrative oversight from Office Beacon management.
