About The Role
We are looking for a driven and versatile Talent Acquisition & HC Operations Associate with 1-3 years of experience to act as a true generalist across human capital, general affairs, recruitment, and basic finance/accounting support. This role is built for someone with a builder mindset who is comfortable with data, vendor negotiations, multi-tasking, and applying AI tools to solve everyday operational problems.
This person will run the day-to-day operational backbone of FLIN Philippines — covering Human Capital (payroll, employee records, engagement, and recruitment support), General Affairs (office administration, facilities, vendor management, and basic IT), and a smaller but meaningful slice of Finance/Accounting (expense tracking, invoice generation and verification, coordination with tax experts, and basic bookkeeping). It's a broad, hands-on role for someone who wants exposure across multiple functions rather than staying narrowly specialized.
This is a growth-track position: depending on performance and individual interest,
the successful candidate may later transition into a business-facing role such as Sales or Credit Underwriting.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Capital, Recruitment, and General Affairs
- Own vendor management end-to-end: build strong vendor relationships, negotiate terms, and track contracts, renewals, and payments.
- Process payroll accurately and on time in coordination with the external payroll vendor, including timekeeping verification and resolving employee payroll/benefits queries.
- Oversee facility management, ensuring the office is safe, well-maintained, and coordinated with building management on any issues.
- Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and support employee engagement and performance review initiatives.
- Handle basic IT administration: activate/deactivate employee email IDs and access, distribute and track company laptops/equipment, and provide first-line IT troubleshooting.
- Support end-to-end recruitment for assigned roles: job postings, sourcing, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
- Coordinate closely with hiring managers to keep the candidate pipeline moving and ensure a smooth, responsive candidate experience.
- Own onboarding logistics for new hires, ensuring all paperwork, accounts, and equipment are ready before Day 1.
Basic Accounting & Finance
- Support bookkeeping and expense tracking related to Human Capital and General Affairs operations.
- Verify vendor invoices and coordinate payment processing with the Finance team.
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready records for all related transactions.
- File all necessary direct and indirect taxation documents.
- Process Improvement & Digital Tools
- Identify manual or inefficient processes and propose automation or AI-tool-based solutions.
- Build and maintain simple trackers/dashboards for HR and GA data (e.g., recruitment funnel, vendor costs, payroll accuracy).
- Continuously improve SOPs and documentation for the function.
Cross-Functional & Cross-Border Collaboration
- Work with business and credit teams to analyze customer bank statements, check credit reports, coordinate with bureaus, and facilitate partnerships.
- Work closely with all departments within FLIN Philippines to support their day-to-day HR, recruitment, and business needs.
- Coordinate regularly with the Human Capital team in Indonesia to align policies, share best practices, and keep processes consistent across both branches.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance/Accounting, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a generalist HR/GA role.
- Must have a Fintech, Banking, or Consultancy background.
- Startup or fast-paced work experience is a plus.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable working with data, Excel, and reporting.
- Decent accounting/bookkeeping knowledge.
- Practical use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to automate tasks and get work done faster.
- Has built or led something tangible before — a project, an event, a community, or a small product — from a previous job or during college.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and a fast learner with high ownership and strong follow-through.
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and a broad, multi-tasking scope of work.
