Job Description
Job Purpose:
Lockton is seeking a commercially driven and highly credible Human Capital Consulting professional to drive business growth, strengthen market presence, and lead consulting engagements across Asia. The role will be responsible for identifying and securing new client opportunities, building and deepening executive-level relationships, positioning Lockton as a leading Human Capital Consulting advisor, and independently delivering high-impact consulting projects. The successful candidate will combine strong sales acumen with consulting expertise and be comfortable engaging senior executives, presenting at industry forums, and acting as a visible ambassador for the HCC practice.
Responsibilities:
1) Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Identify, pursue, and win new Human Capital Consulting opportunities across target markets and industries.
- Develop and execute market penetration and client acquisition strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives, CHROs, HR Leaders, and business decision makers.
- Generate a sustainable pipeline of consulting opportunities and contribute to practice revenue growth.
- Lead proposal development, client pitches, commercial negotiations, and contract discussions.
- Cross-sell and collaborate with other Lockton solution areas to expand client relationships.
2) Client Leadership & Consulting Delivery
- Lead consulting engagements from diagnosis through implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high-quality standard.
- Independently manage client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor.
- Deliver solutions across areas such as: Organization Design, Workforce Transformation, Talent & Leadership Development, Succession Planning, Job Architecture & Job Evaluation, Rewards & Performance Management, Culture & Employee Experience and Change Management
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and executive committees.
3) Brand Building & Market Presence
- Strengthen Lockton's visibility and reputation within the Human Capital Consulting market. Represent Lockton at industry events, conferences, roundtables, and networking forums.
- Deliver keynote presentations, thought leadership sessions, and client workshops.
- Develop market insights, white papers, articles, and consulting thought leadership content.
- Build strategic partnerships with industry associations and business networks.
4) Practice Development
- Contribute to the growth and development of Lockton's HCC solutions and intellectual capital.
- Mentor junior consultants and support capability building within the practice.
- Share market intelligence, client trends, and emerging people-related challenges
- Support the development of consulting methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
5) Leadership Experience
- Build and scale a team in a growth-oriented environment and enhance team capability
- Inspire, motivate and manage diverse teams
Requirements
- At least 10 years in business development or sales-oriented role ideally within consulting, professional services or HR/tech sectors
- Proven track record of selling consulting services, with demonstrated experience in achieving revenue targets
- Exceptional relationship-builder with strong negotiation, presentation and closing skills
- Deep HR domain knowledge to credibly position solution and spot partnership opportunities
- Bachelor's/Master's in Business, HR, Finance or a related field
