ACCIONA, in its Construction Business, is looking to hire an HSS Coordinator for its railway project in MCRP P04, Clark, Pampanga.
Job Description
- Oversee, guide and actively support the development and implementation of an effective
- H&S Management System across the project.
- Ensures the H&S system is adequately communicated, maintained and compliant with the client requirements and all legal and regulatory legislation.
- Supervises and evaluates the workers H&S Attitude
- Promotes achievement and performance throughout the project organization.
- Support and develops the CSHP and supervise its implementation.
- Supervises and ensures proper administration and application of H&S system documents assigned to him.
- Provides support drafting H&S management plans; including, EPP'S, SMP'S, and IT's during construction.
- Setting compliance objectives and standards of service, and ensuring targets are achieved for all H&S Functions.
- Coordinates activities required to meet and HS standards: develop technical procedures work instructions, inspection points programs, technical specification for procuring, material reception programs, etc.
- Analyzes nonconformities and deviations from the system; establishes corrective preventive actions and checks for their effectiveness, monitoring and closure.
- Ensures tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated, and that product / service modifications are investigated when required. Conducts internal Audits.
- Follows up on the claim solving process.
- Conduct training sessions for the workers.
- Collaborate in briefing - general training at different levels for the project on H&S related topics.
Required Skills And Competencies
- 3 years experience in Occupational Health & Safety and knowledge of applicable legislation.
- Excellent computer skills using MS Office and the Internet.
- Excellent organization/judgment/initiative/interpersonal skills with ability to work independently with minimal supervision or in a team setting.
- Ability to work within a team environment, effectively prioritizing multiple tasks with competing deadlines
- DOLE liaison experience.
- Previous experience in, Health, and Safety Roles, in Civil, Social and Rehabilitation projects.
