Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Own end-to-end recruitment for assigned sites/countries, from workforce planning and sourcing to offer management and onboarding.
- Partner with Operations and WFM teams to forecast hiring needs based on volume projections and ramp plans.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-volume agent and support roles, as well as niche/specialist positions.
- Manage employer branding initiatives at the local level to attract quality candidates.
- Track and report recruitment KPIs (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, offer acceptance rate, attrition in early tenure).
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary cases, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure all HR practices and decisions comply with local labor laws across Southeast Asian markets (e.g., Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia).
- Advise managers on performance management, coaching, and termination processes to minimize legal risk.
- Conduct and document investigations into employee complaints, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
- Monitor changes in local employment legislation and proactively update policies and practices.
HR Generalist & Strategic Support
- Partner with site leadership on org design, succession planning, and talent development.
- Support performance review cycles, engagement surveys, and retention initiatives.
- Analyze HR metrics (attrition, engagement, absenteeism) and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborate with COEs (Comp & Ben, L&D, HR Ops) to deliver aligned HR solutions.
- Act as a change agent during transitions, new site launches, or client ramp-ups.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years as an HRBP or HR Generalist in a BPO or contact center environment.
- Strong hands-on experience in high-volume recruitment and employee relations.
- Solid knowledge of labor laws across Southeast Asian countries; multi-country experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to influence at all levels.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional SEA language is a plus.
- Willingness to travel across regional sites as needed.
