Job Description

The Purpose of Your Role

The HR Specialist supports the accurate, timely, and compliant administration of the company's HRIS (Paylocity) and core HR operational processes. This role focuses on maintaining high-quality employee data, processing employee lifecycle transactions, responding to employee inquiries, and producing reliable HR reports used by HR leadership and cross-functional teams. The position plays a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, data integrity, and a positive employee experience.

Success Indicators/KPIs

  • Accuracy and completeness of employee data in Paylocity.
  • Low error rates identified through routine HRIS audits.
  • Ticket resolution times and employee satisfaction with HR support responses.
  • On-time delivery and accuracy of recurring HR reports.
  • Compliance with documentation, record retention, and confidentiality standards.
  • Consistent adherence to established HR processes and service-level expectations.

Upon achieving these key performance indicators, your supervisor will meet with you to review progress and collaborate on establishing new performance goals that reflect continued growth and excellence.

Core Responsibilities

  • HRIS Administration & Data Integrity
  • Maintain and update employee records in Paylocity, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform regular data audits and resolve discrepancies in coordination with HR leadership.
  • Document and follow standard operating procedures related to HRIS administration. Employee Lifecycle & Administrative Support
  • Maintain digital personnel files in accordance with U.S. HR recordkeeping standards.
  • Prepare and distribute routine HR documents and confirmations.
  • Support administrative components of HR programs such as performance reviews, credential tracking, and compliance documentation.
  • Serve as a point of contact for HR questions via ticketing system.

Reporting & Data Support

  • Generate HR reports related to headcount, turnover, and operational metrics.
  • Ensure reports are accurate, well-organized, and delivered within established timelines.
  • Assist HR leadership with data preparation for audits, internal reviews, and planning activities.

The Skills and Expertise You Have

  • 5+ years of experience in HR operations, HRIS administration, or an HR Specialist role.
  • Prior experience supporting U.S. based companies.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms; Paylocity experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong data management skills with a focus on accuracy and consistency.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (filters, formulas, pivot tables).
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work U.S. Mountain Standard Time hours.
  • Must be punctual and maintain excellent attendance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting healthcare, multi-site, or regulated organizations.
  • Experience working with Paylocity.
  • HR-related education or certification (local or international).
  • Prior experience supporting audits or compliance-related reporting.

Work Schedule: 8AM - 5PM Mountain Time

Pay: 10$/hour

Reports to: Sr. HR Manager
