JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resources (HR) Specialist for Employee and Labor Relations provides administrative support to HR functions related to Employee and Labor Relations. This role ensures the effective implementation of initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture, resolve employee concerns, and uphold compliance with labor policies and regulations.
SPECIFIC ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
1. Foster a positive workplace culture by promoting open communication, addressing employee concerns, and escalating issues to superiors when necessary.
2. Provide effective administrative support to ensure the successful implementation of Employee Relations activities, including but not limited to:
· Health and Wellness Programs
· Rewards and Recognition Initiatives
· Fun and Festive Celebrations
· Team-Building Activities
· Learning and Development Opportunities
· Community Engagement and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiatives
3. Monitor and track quarterly perfect attendance as part of the rewards program.
B. LABOR RELATIONS
1. Assist in the investigation of employee grievances or complaints, ensuring proper documentation and timely resolution.
2. Support the HR Officer in investigating cases of employee violations, documenting findings, and recommending corrective actions in accordance with company policies (e.g., Code of Good Conduct and Behavior).
3. Take minutes during disciplinary hearings or meetings with employees, ensuring all attendees sign the minutes for accountability.
4. Monitor attendance-related and other policy violations, including but not limited to:
· Tardiness
· Absenteeism
· Violations of Dress and Grooming Standards
5. Prepare disciplinary documentation, such as:
· Notice to Explain / Show Cause Memos
· Memos on Disciplinary Action
· Coaching/Counseling Documentation Forms
· Minutes of Meetings (Hearings)
C. COMPLIANCE AND REPORTING
1. Register all new branches of Amici and Caramia under Rule 1020 of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
2. Provide assistance to the HR Officer and/or HR Manager in the implementation of the following Mandatory Workplace Policies and Procedures.
3. Ensure the timely preparation and submission of mandatory DOLE reportorial requirements, including but not limited to:
· Employer's Work Accident/Injury Report (WAIR)
· Annual Work Accident/Injury Exposure Data Report (AEDR)
· Annual Medical Report (AMR)
· Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Committee Report
4. Provide assistance in the implementation of other Company policies and procedures.
5. Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.
D. OTHERS
1. Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
