- Implement and monitor company safety policies and procedures
- Conduct vehicle and workplace safety inspections
- Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare reports
- Facilitate safety training and driver orientation
- Handle recruitment of drivers and staff (sourcing, screening, onboarding)
- Ensure timely deployment of qualified personnel
- Preferably able to drive or has good knowledge of road operations, as this is a Safety Officer role in a transportation company.
