Position: HR Personnel Employee Relations & Labor Compliance
Job Summary
Responsible for handling employee relations concerns, labor-related cases, disciplinary processes, and compliance with labor laws and company policies. The role involves managing employee grievances, preparing case documentation, coordinating with government agencies when necessary, and ensuring proper implementation of due process in all employee-related matters.
Job Responsibilities
- Handle employee relations concerns, grievances, and disciplinary cases.
- Prepare and issue notices, memoranda, explanations, and other case-related documents.
- Assist in conducting administrative investigations and fact-finding activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and government regulations.
- Coordinate with management regarding employee disciplinary actions and case resolutions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of employee cases and incidents.
- Assist in handling labor-related concerns, complaints, and hearings before government agencies when required.
- Monitor compliance with due process requirements and proper case management procedures.
- Provide guidance to supervisors and employees regarding company policies and labor standards.
- Perform other HR and employee relations functions as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Political Science, Legal Management, Public Administration, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or any related course.
- Experience in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Labor Compliance, or Case Handling is an advantage.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, especially those with a strong interest in labor laws, employee relations, and legal/compliance matters.
- Must be willing to learn and develop expertise in labor case handling and employee disciplinary procedures.
- Knowledge of Philippine Labor Code, DOLE regulations, and due process procedures is an advantage.
- Strong reading comprehension and research skills, particularly in interpreting policies, labor laws, and government regulations.
- Experience in handling employee grievances, notices, investigations, and case documentation is preferred.
- Good communication, writing, and documentation skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling confidential information.
- Confident, professional, and able to deal with sensitive employee concerns and difficult situations.
- Willing to attend hearings, conferences, and meetings with government agencies when necessary.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among legal counsel, management, and employees on labor-related concerns and case resolutions.
- Maintains composure and effectiveness when working under pressure or dealing with complex workplace issues.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Background in Political Science, Legal Management, Psychology, Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Criminology, or related fields.
- Familiarity with DOLE procedures, labor standards, employee discipline, and administrative case management.
- Has the confidence and professionalism to handle labor-related concerns while maintaining fairness and compliance.
- Passionate about reading and understanding labor laws, company policies, and employment regulations.
