Overview of the role but not limited to:
- Ensure complete payroll information is accurately recorded, validated, and processed within established payroll cycles.
- Review payroll calculations and perform gross-to-net processing while ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze payroll error reports, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve complex payroll issues, inquiries, and escalations in a timely manner.
- Provide guidance and support to stakeholders regarding payroll policies, processes, and employee pay-related concerns.
- Partner with Payroll Managers and relevant teams to resolve payroll exceptions and improve service delivery.
- Maintain payroll systems and employee payroll records to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Coordinate and oversee weekly, bi-monthly, and monthly payroll processing activities.
- Prepare payroll reports, audit documentation, and compliance-related requirements.
- Generate periodic and ad-hoc payroll reports, analytics, and insights to support business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with payroll policies, statutory requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend enhancements to payroll processes and controls.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree holder, preferably in a Business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related discipline.
- With at least 3 to 5 years of payroll or HRO-related experience.
- Strong knowledge of payroll ERP systems and payroll processing methodologies.
- Strong understanding of payroll laws, labor regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Solid knowledge of payroll fundamentals, tax implications, and compliance standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience handling payroll inquiries, escalations, and issue resolution.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting is an advantage.
- With no issues and concerns reporting onsite 100%. Candidates who live near our offices will have better advantages.
